Role:
As a Technical Leader COBOL, you will work on multiple and various projects, in relation with the Company Group entities, on projects ranging from Online Banking backend to intenal Applications Portals and business-logic services/modules, complying with several business needs, on the technical area, the functional area, as well as on the methodology area.

You will contribute to setup application solutions, with architectural proposals in line with the IT environment of the Company.

Job responsibilities:

- COBOL programming + team management

- provide leadership and a vision to your IT development team;

- organize and manage the team activities on different projects;

- be accountable for the delivery of the team;

- support the team members in executing their tasks;

- contribute to advice, expertise and code review;

- ensure delivery of projects in cooperation with the Scrum Master/Project Manager and Domain Owners;

- participate in development and support of new modules and functionalities;

- contribute to translate functional concepts to technical analysis in close cooperation with the Project Leader, the Functional/ Technical Analyst;

- short traveling period to Luxembourg will be required for onboarding, and post-onboarding depending on project-base needs;

Job requirements:

Knowledge and experience

- You hold a University degree;

- You have at least 3 years of experience leading an IT development team;

- Experience as COBOL programmer

- Knowledge on mainframe technologies (IBM/ZOS, COBOL, DB2);

- Fluent in English;

- Middle-advance knowledge of French is mandatory !

- Having at least 5 years of experience with financial industry IT projects is considered an asset;

- Experience with Agile/Scrum and/or Prince2 is considered as an asset;
