REPEMOL - Regionalisation of paediatric emergency and intensive care services in Moldova
Technical Coordinator
The Moldovan Swiss project Regionalization of the Pediatric Emergency and Intensive Care Medical Services System (REPEMOL) represents a continuation in the actions started by the Swiss Government to support the improvement of the mother and child health (MCH) in the Republic of Moldova.
The REPEMOL project is in line with the MDGs Moldovan Targets (4 and 5), and the national policy documents.
The project is implemented by the Centre for Health Policy and Services (Romania) through its local partner Foundation CHPS Moldova.
The REPEMOL project is at its third implementation phase in the period November 01, 2013 - October 31, 2017. The overall goal of the project remain the same, to increase the chances of survival of children that need emergency medical services and the prevention of children accidents, which aims on one side to consolidate the achievements to date, but on the other side propose a paradigm shift: the project objectives (and the respective outcomes) follow the children from the community (preventing injuries and accidents interventions) throughout the health system in case this is needed (primary health care, fast and safe medicalized transportation of severe cases -referred directly to the regional pediatric hospitals ready to provide the best possible inpatient services) and back to the family and community, in good health.
In order to achieve Project outcomes and for better technical coordination of project activities, the project intend to recruit a Technical Coordinator, who will have the following main tasks, under the supervision and in close collaboration with the local project manager:
1. Coordination of the technical pre-hospital outcome related activities (including dispatch).
2. Monitoring and evaluation of all technical activities of the project - keep track and document all project indicators and health providers' data. Pre-hospital and hospital data analysis.
3. Monitoring the implementation of procurement of goods and services.
Required qualification:
• University education, exact sciences, i.e. Technical sciences;
• Proven previous experience within the health sector
• At least 3 years of the experience in working in international projects, of which some should preferably have been in relation to health;
• Experience in the area of procurement of goods and services from national and international sources;
• The knowledge of the up-to-date policy and financing of the health sector, the strategy and the principles of management will be an advantage;
• Fluent Romanian, Russian and English language skills;
• Computer literacy;
• Good communication skills.
