As Technical Architect, you will be responsible for the overall technical design and build of the custom elements of the solution. You will work as a team member along with the developers and Solutions Architect to deliver the complete solution for the customer.
Main responsibilities
• Co-team with the Solutions Architect to produce a technical specification for custom development and systems integration requirements.
• Produce a detailed technical design document to match the solution design specifications
• Complete/oversee the custom development and quality assurance efforts for custom work
• Participate and lead, when needed, the project meetings with the customer
• Manage multiple development designs and projects to meet project and customer required time lines.
• Provide Customer Training as required
• Participate in internal projects as required
• Analyze, diagnose, and resolve errors related to their applications
• Provide technical expertise across multiple areas of application development
• Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as required
• Investigate operational or systematic problems and user queries as required
• Follow all departmental standards and methodologies
• Assist in defining project plans requiring software development and hardware installations
• Interact and communicate with developers, solution architect and project’s stakeholders
As an ideal candidate, you must be self-motivated with a proven track record in .NET technologies and comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. Candidate must be organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment, able to design and implement a project schedule, and able to handle multiple priorities.
Must have skills
• At least 4 - 5 years of experience with .NET development
• Working experience with ASP.NET (MVC3+) and Windows Forms technologies
• In-depth knowledge of C# .NET technologies
• Experience on creating from scratch N-tier and N-layered architecture
• WCF (REST and/or SOAP web services) knowledge
• ORMs knowledge (EF5+, nHibernate)
• Multithreading experience
• English language (fluent)
• Agile methodologies knowledge
• Strong OO Analysis & Design experience
• Design patterns
Nice to have skills
• University degree in computer science or a related field
• Ability to lead a team
• Experience of working to and applying agile (SCRUM) methodologies
• Domain Driven Design (DDD) and Test Driven Development (TDD)
• Design patterns knowledge
• Italian language
