Overview of Core Responsibilities and Competencies:

Project Scoping

Over-Head Projects
- Identification and assessment of internal costs

Relationship Management
- Positive and open relationships
- Relationships with project stakeholders
- Communication and visibility

Project Planning
- Ensure project plan is a living document, continuously updated and keep tracking progress.

Process Control
- Create/identify development process
- Ensure execution and delivery
- Report on project statuses

Technology
- Basic understanding of current and upcoming technologies
- Solid understanding of company’s products, services, technologies
- Understanding of staff skillsets and capabilities

Development
- Ability to assist with development tasks

- Automated Testing
- Quality Assurance

- Team Staffing

Required Skills and Experience:
• Strong communication skills with both internal team members and external business stakeholders
• Strong initiative to find ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes
• 5+ years of experience as a Software Developer with exposure to Java, J2EE applications, DDBB SQL: MS SQL Server or IBM DB2 or Oracle and Web Services
• Extensive experience designing and developing enterprise grade software
• Experience with agile development methodologies
• Experience with debugging, performance profiling and optimization
• Prior experience in a technical leadership position
• University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
