This is a full time position, based in our Chisinau office.

Atomate is a software development company focused on web, desktop and mobile platforms. We plan, design and develop user friendly and efficient software for high profile clients throughout the world. We are based in London, UK with an additional development office in Eastern Europe, Moldova.

We are looking for skilled Java developers with various industry or academic exposure. This is an interesting and challenging position as you will be involved in building granular but innovative applications. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Java developer capable of thriving in a complex technical environment using his Java development experience, specifically with Java, Servlet, Tomcat and/or WebSphere, MVC frameworks (such as Spring MVC) running with a MySQL and Unix/Linux backend to build and maintain high-performing services with compelling features and UIs.

Required Skills:
Web application development experience using Java EE, JPA, JSF, JSP, Spring, REST, Jersey, JQuery, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
Oracle SQL and PL/SQL experience
OOP knowledge, Design patterns and best practices

Additional requirements:
Good written/verbal English is desired
Strong coding skills and ethic is a must
Basic product management skills a plus
Knowledge of Hybris and understanding of Agile/Scrum is highly appreciated but not mandatory
Demonstrated critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills
Above average written and verbal communication skills

Experience:
Minimum 3 years experience in professional software development required.

Education
University/Academic background preferred, however not required. Good sense of humor is required.
