This is a remote, home-based position.

Scopic Software is seeking for intelligent, hard-working, passionate Senior JavaScript Developer who wants to do interesting work. Scopic Software is US-based company with employees in more than 20 different countries.  The company develops custom software applications for many different markets and platforms. Engineers work from the comfort of their home using a PC and internet connection. Projects can be short or long. Project team sizes range from 1 to 10 people, including QA and a project manager. Web-based project management, source code control and bug tracking software help to manage the development process. Work is interesting and challenging.

Requirements:

• Strong JavaScript programming skills.  
• 3+ years experience in JavaScript development.
• Experience with web applications development (not just website development).
• Expertise in client-side JS frameworks (e.g., Ember, Angular, ReactJS).
• Software architecture and design pattern knowledge.
• Interest/passion for modern web technologies.
• Good English reading and writing skills. Intermediate spoken-level English skills.
• Git experience/expertise.
• Test-driven design knowledge/experience - e.g., QUnit, Mocha, Jasmine (desired, not required).
• Virtual DOM, shadow DOM, web-components expertise (desired, not required).
• ES6 knowledge (desired, not required).
• Dedication and discipline to work remotely from home.
• Good home computer and internet connection.

 

This is a full-time position.

 

Hourly rate from $15/hour depends on skills and experience.
