We are Business & Finance Consulting, an international consulting company specialised in establishing and upgrading MSME banking services in emerging markets. With more than 120 staff, we have been working with well-known development banks and international donors for over 22 years in over 80 countries in the Balkans, Eastern Europe, Caucasus, Central Asia, South and Southeast Asia, MENA, and Sub-Saharan Africa.We are now looking for an MSME Banking Expert to expand our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the international development finance sector working in projects funded by prestigious organisations such as ADB, EBRD, EIB, KfW, IFC/WB. Details:Location: home-basedInput: full-time or part-time (both options are possible) Who we are looking for:We look for individuals who have at least 5 years of banking experience, including strong experience with MSME segment, especially in the lending business or risk managementYour specific experience should include:Development and improvement of lending and non-lending financial productsCredit analysis, credit risk assessment and underwriting, especially in the MSME segmentHiring and coaching staffAbsolutely fluent written and spoken English (C1 or C2), fluent Russian and/or French is an advantageExceptional writing and communication skills to present ideas in a structured and clear way What you will do:Support with implementing the projects at partner financial institutions (PFIs)Develop internal procedures and tools for PFIs on the aforementioned areasSupport the implementation of recommendations in cooperation with PFI teams What we offer:BFC operates within a flat organisational structure.
