Digital Grup is seeking an eCommerce Email Marketing Manager to build a highly engaging email marketing strategy for our eCommerce website

The eCommerce Email Marketing Manager is responsible for defining, managing and implementing the email marketing strategy and operations as it relates to eCommerce sales.

This position will define a strategic vision by partnering with business owners in eCommerce, marketing, engineering and content to deliver the most relevant content to our users. The email marketing channel has a significant impact on the organization’s revenue, traffic and member retention metrics.

What You Will Do:
• Manage the day to day operations of the eCommerce email team, including a staff of analysts, designers and copywriters.
• Develop short- and long-range strategies that will evolve eCommerce email marketing to an effective and efficient marketing channel that delivers both direct revenue and customer loyalty as well as serves as a key traffic driver.
• Create, implement and optimize a mobile email strategy.
• Partner with business teams to develop marketing plans that support business objectives; while protecting and growing the size and value of our customer email list and maintaining brand guidelines.
• Be accountable for email sends, revenue, deliverability and profit/loss driven by the email marketing channel.
• Develop budget and forecasts for email channel and be accountable for delivering against business goals/objectives.
• Work closely with product and IT teams to develop and execute on roadmap of functional and technological email marketing capability enhancements which includes technologies like personalization.
• Use data to continuously test, measure and optimize email performance.
• Other duties as assigned

Skills:
• Fluent English
• Strong copy writing skills with a focus on email marketing copy.
• HTML design and coding experience specific to email marketing (a PLUS).
• A background in conceiving, implementing and reporting on email marketing campaigns. Marketing for merchandise ecommerce is a PLUS.
• An ability to spec out and quote prospective email marketing campaigns.
• Knowledge of Project Management and CRM software.
• A self-starter attitude capable of owning important responsibilities.
• An ability to stay calm and collected under pressure.
• Drive and confidence to take on new responsibilities and grow within a start-up environment.
