announces the selection for the position
Assets and Liabilities Manager

Main responsibilities:
• Collaborates with other divisions in the budgeting and planning processes, proposing funding and investment plans;
• Elaboration and implementation of bank's strategies related to liquidity, interest rate, investment and contingency funding in accordance with the internal and external regulations;
• Elaborates analyses, information and proposals to ALCO regarding evolution of the balance sheet in terms of liquidity, interest rate behavior, maturity and currency structure of the balance sheet items;
• Continuously monitoring the evolution of the balance sheet in terms of liquidity and interest rate positioning;
• Collaborates with other divisions in order to ensure the optimal daily liquidity management and to manage the investments portfolio;
• Carry out Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) processes, calculation and periodical review of internal FTPs , rates and indexes;
• Participation on ALM meetings, interact with other BCR Group and with Erste Group Bank members.

Requirements:
• University/Master Degree in Finance-Accounting; Economics;
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience in financial services / banking system or audit;
• Knowledge of financial services, macroeconomics and relations to financial markets;
• Good knowledge of accounting principles;
• Knowledge of banking products, pricing and interest rate sensitivity of fixed income securities, liquidity management;
• Familiarity with the bank specific accounting policies and procedures are an advantage;
• Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint);
• Fluency in English both written and verbal is essential;
• Good analytical and numerical skills;
• Required abilities for the job: Self-starter, hands-on, responsible and detail-oriented.
