The Anti-Trafficking and Gender (ATG) Programme of the OSCE Mission to Moldova continues to build capacity of judges, prosecutors, lawyers, police officers and other professionals from Moldova’s regions in order to further promote the effective implementation of legislation on preventing and combating domestic violence, human trafficking, and gender equality. As part of its projects, the OSCE is seeking to expand its pool of local expert trainers for its activities in the field of preventing and combating trafficking in human beings, domestic violence and promoting gender equality.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The experts shall be tasked to:
Prepare presentations and training modules on the effective implementation of domestic violence, anti-trafficking legislation, as well as gender equality issues.
Act as trainers at the training seminars on preventing and combating domestic violence, combating trafficking in human beings for judges, prosecutors, lawyers, police officers and other professionals.
Act as experts responsible for elaboration of researches, assessments, training materials, textbooks and/or other needed resources for the ATG Programme.
Required Qualifications:
Advanced degree in law, social sciences and other related fields, with a focus on anti-trafficking, preventing and combating domestic violence and promotion of gender equality;
Previous experience in delivering interactive trainings and/or elaboration of training materials on combating trafficking in human beings, domestic violence, and promotion of gender equality;
Previous experience in working as experts/facilitators tasked with the elaboration of researches, reports, assessments in the above-mentioned fields;
Excellent knowledge of national context (legislation and actors) of the Republic of Moldova;
Extensive knowledge of the international and national standards in the area of prevention and combating domestic violence, trafficking in human beings and promotion of gender equality;
Fluency in Romanian and Russian languages; knowledge of English is an asset.
Remuneration:
Remuneration will depend on the qualifications and experience, and according to the current OSCE consultancy rates.
