This is a remote, home-based position.
Scopic Software (www.scopicsoftware.com) is looking for a legal market researcher who will do appropriate research and describe / document / classify legal entities such as standard corporation, foundation, limited liability company, limited partnership, association etc. in different countries. The research will need to be done for the following regions: Latin America, Eastern Europe, Asia. The task is essentially to standardize the entities and match them to corresponding EU/Switzerland entities.
This is part-time position. It will be 2-4 months long, but possibly can turn into long term collaboration.
Requirements:
1. Good English reading, writing and verbal skills.
2. Good communication skills.
3. Being located (at least in the past) in one of the 3 regions listed below, understanding legal entities structure / hierarchy of the region.
4. Being fluent in region's corresponding language (see the list below).
5. Some market research and legal experience. Legal or paralegal background.
6. Bachelor's degree or higher.
7. Honesty and integrity.
8. Experience in software development processes is a plus.
Regions and languages:
Latin America: Spanish
Eastern Europe: Russian
Asia: Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, Thai (at least one of the languages but preferably several of them).
Hourly rate 15-20$/hour.
