This is a remote, home-based position.
Scopic Software (www.scopicsoftware.com) is seeking intelligent, hard-working, passionate WordPress and Joomla Developer that wants to do interesting work. Scopic Software is US-based company with employees in more than 10 different countries. The company develops graphics, multimedia and image processing/analysis software for the desktop, web and mobile platforms. Engineers work from the comfort of their home using a PC and internet connection. Work is interesting and challenging.

Skills required:
• Good English reading and writing skills. Ideally good verbal English skills.
• Proficiency with WordPress and Joomla.
• Experience with using WordPress and Joomla plugins / extension.
• HTML5 / CSS skills
• 1+ years experience in software development.
• Dedication and discipline to work remotely from home.
• Good home computer and internet connection.

Skills preferred (optional):
• Experience in developing WordPress/Joomla plugins/extensions.
• PHP or ASP.NET skills
• JavaScript skills including JavaScript frameworks
• Experience with SQL databases.

We prefer full-time candidates, but part-time candidates will be also considered.

Hourly rate range is $8-$12/hr depends on skills and experience.
