The Company:

The Foreign Small Enterprise Alliance, or FSEA, is a non governmental, membership-based business association. FSEA’s members are small businesses working in the Republic of Moldova. Our members work together as allies through networking, resourcing, advocacy, and other initiatives to encourage and protect the development and growth through sharing common principles. In July 2016 members of FSEA participated in a team at the Hack Corruption event hosted by the UNDP. The team designed and created a platform called Startin.MD. Startin.MD supports companies through an online knowledge base, Q&A system, and shared experiences that are created by the community and official responses.

Job Description

StartIn.MD is currently under development with a scheduled MVP (alpha) launch (in English) on September 1st. The final product will follow and be released in English / Russian / Romanian in November. The Project Manager will be responsible for all non-technical aspects of this project from launch until maturity. These responsibilities include (but are not limited to)
Moderating the site - a large Q&A system has much in common with a forum. Many users will be posting and sharing content which must be checked and approved. The Project Manager is content-responsible for the site;
Marketing the site online and offline;
Representing the project at events, companies and state institutions;
Presenting the project to other third-parties;
Reporting on site growth and other relevant statistics to the FSEA board;
Making sure that the project is on track;

Skills / Experience
Required
Strong organizational skills
Experience using online communities (forums, etc) and understanding of standard etiquette
Word processing, creating spreadsheets and presentations, online literacy
Strong verbal and written communication in Romanian or Russian (ether one)
Working proficiency in Romanian, Russian and English
Professional communications skills
Ability to communicate professionally with businesspeople
Desired
Experience moderating forums or online communities is a major plus
Experience working in an international environment
