Allied Testing software company is looking to fill a position of QA engineer with financial background for an ongoing project.
The job assumes working in international team serving a large US brokerage company, designing and executing the testing of large and complex software systems.
Minimal requirements:
- Experienced PC user, good knowledge of office applications (WORD, EXCEL) and network
- Financial background (work experience with financial organizations, banks, exchanges, FOREX)
- Good English skills (reading technical documentation, writing reports, verbal communication with client)
- Technical set of mind coupled with: common sense, goal focus, ambition, reliability, analytical mind and attention to detail
- Previous QA experience/ taking part in User Acceptance Testing is plus.
Responsibilities:
Project assumes testing of the brokerage systems (testing user interface of trading platforms, testing various back office operations). Daily activities assume:
- Designing test scenarios / creating and maintaining test library
- Execution of functional and regression testing
- Work with defects (communication with business team/ development team), maintain defects database
- Regular communication with the customer (video conferences/ phone calls)
- Potential necessity to travel on-site to the customer to execute tests (Omaha/Nebraska, Baltimore/Maryland and Jersey City/New Jersey)
The position assumes full time job in the company office, shifted hours (to match US customer time zone). Part time or remote work is not possible.
We provide a set of training courses within trial period. The salary depends on work experience, interview and tests results.
