To support the continual growth of the business, we are looking to recruit Finance and Accounting Personnel to join our team and be running day-to-day financial operations. Job Responsibilities:
Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
Documents financial transactions by entering account information
Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements
Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options
Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
Assist in planning assignments to ensure their completion to the required standard and within budget
Producing a complete accountancy working paper file with draft accounts for a job that involves incomplete record work
Posting sales, purchases, bank and journal entries on the firm's approved accounts package and produce required reports
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Job Requirements:
degree or certification in accounting, finance or related discipline
Good computer skills
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working in a finance or accounting function
Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
Ability to work as part of a team, yet also work using own initiative when required
General practice experience
Good analytical, organisational and administrative skills
Excellent attention to detail
Self-motivated and with a high level of professionalism
Goal-oriented and able to work under pressure
