This is a remote, home-based position.
Scopic Software (www.scopicsoftware.com) is seeking intelligent, hard-working, passionate Senior/Lead PHP/Javascript Developer that want to do interesting work. Scopic Software is US-based company with employees in more than 10 different countries. The company develops graphics, multimedia and image processing/analysis software for the desktop, web and mobile platforms. Engineers work from the comfort of their home using a PC and internet connection. Projects can be short or long. Project team sizes range from 1 to 10 people, including QA and a project manager. Web-based project management, source code control and bug tracking software help to manage the development process. Work is interesting and challenging.

Requirements:
Skills required:
• Good English reading and writing skills. Ideally good verbal English skills.
• Excellent backend programming skills:
o Proficiency in PHP, experience with PHP frameworks (e.g., Symfony, Yii, Laravel, Zend).
o Proficiency in SQL Datbases (including MySQL).
o Good skills with Linux. Windows Server is a plus.
• Good fronted programming skills:
o HTML5, CSS
o JavaScript, including Javascript frameworks (e.g., AngularJS, Backbone.js, knockoutjs, node.js).
• Software architecture and database design experience.
• Dedication and discipline to work remotely from home.
Skills preferred (optional):
• Experience with other backend technologies / programming languages: ASP.NET, C#, Ruby on Rails
• Experience with TCP/IP, Web Sockets
• Experience with audio and video programming
• Experience with 2d/3d graphics programming
• Experience with Amazon Services

This is a full-time position.
Hourly rate range 15$-20$/hour depends on experience.
